FEATURES:
- WRIGHT Pipe Anchors assure proper securement of train line pipe in accordance with A.A.R. Specifications. In many applications, the pipe anchor facilitates the installation of the train line pipe, as it can be used as a cradle for the pipe.
- Driving of wedge provides consistent clamping forces, whereas the torquing of nuts on U-bolts can vary considerably.
- Different designs of the pipe anchor base eliminate the need for different U-bolt bracket sizes.
- If the train line pipes require maintenance, each tab can be straightened and safely reapplied twice.
- It is obvious when the pipe anchor wedge is applied correctly whereas it is difficult to discern if U-bolts are properly tensioned.
DESCRIPTION:
- Pipe anchor bases come in 1-1/4, 1, 3/4 1/2 and 3/8 sizes and various designs and are drop forged from C-1020 steel.
- All of our wedges are formed steel and are zinc plated.
