FEATURES:
- Incorporates a retainer hook, which helps retain cover to the car if locks are left open.
- Meets A.A.R. Recommended Practice RP-258-92 concerning trough hatch covers and
- Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) specifications.
- Specially designed hatch cover offset hinge pins are required and sold separately.
- For use as a combination hinge and lock on trough covered hopper cars that require hatch covers to be opened from either side of the trough.
DESCRIPTION:
- Locks are assembled and coated.
- Hook spring and cotter are stainless steel. Hinge pin and retainer hook are drop forged.
- Steel adjustment plates are required for most applications to the car, but are not furnished.
